During the auction, Bunnaloo Black Goats sold 16/25 bucks at an average of $697 and 20/25 doe’s at an average of $790. Bunnaloo’s remaining 9 bucks and 5 doe’s sold at the conclusion of the sale resulting in a 100% clearance!
A breakdown of the auction result showed:
Black bucks sold at an average of $875
Red bucks averaged $590
Black doe’s sold at an average of $975
Red doe’s averaged $769
Our top priced black buck- BBG 220010 (Lot 38) sold for $1,300 to Stewart Neyland from Prill Park.
Our top priced red buck- BBG 220046 (Lot 36) sold for $1,200 to Stewart Neyland from Prill Park.
Top priced black doe- BBG 220005 (Lot 81) sold for $1,100 to Vicki Mitchell of Coomboona Boer Goats.
Top priced red doe- BBG 220093 (Lot 76) sold for $1,450 to Jacques Oosthuizen of Emthunzini Boer Goats.
We are very lucky to get such great results during these trying times in the goat industry!

We are very happy with these results! As many of you are aware, the goat market is extremely tough at the moment due to the enormous drop in meat prices and excessive flooding over much of the country.

Our goats can be registered with two associations- Boer Goat Breeders Association of Australia (BGBAA) or Kalahari Association of Australia (KGAA)

Unfortunately we have made a very hard decision to have to cancel the Cobar Annual Red and Black Goat Sale for 2022 which featured a tremendous line-up of elite bucks and doe’s.
Due to the long lasting, devastating weather events seen in recent months, accessibility for all involved including the vendors has been taken into account and we have decided to call off this years sale.
Stay tuned though - We are about to announce something BIG very soon!!!

Top priced buck- Rangeland Red 20240 (Lot 17) sold for $21,000 to the Mosely family of Etiwanda Station (NEW AUSTRALIAN RECORD)
Top priced doe- Bunnaloo Black Goats 201046 (Lot 113) sold for $13,500 to Ross Gates of Coonoolcra Station (NEW AUSTRALIAN RECORD)

As well as being the bulk buyers of the sale, Ross and Nicole, of Coonoolcra Station, also purchased the top-priced red doe (Lot 113) for $13,500, smashing the original Australian record (which Bunnaloo Black Goats held).


The Cullinan family, of Kinross and Kelleen Station, purchased the top-priced black doe (Lot 111) for $13,000, smashing the original Australian record (which Bunnaloo Black Goats held).
